Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you
something to do but gets you nowhere.

Matthew 6:34 (AMP)
So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will
have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own
trouble.
Beloved, is
there a worry in your life? Be it a test tomorrow, or a bill due next week. Or even a demand placed
on you on the following days to come. Jesus says don’t worry about it. In the
whole of Matt 6, Jesus explained that even Solomon, the richest king in the
whole history could not be matched up with us. (Matt 6:25-33)
Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)
“Are you tired? Worn out?
Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your
life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with
me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything
heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live
freely and lightly.”
Beloveds are
you tired or worn out? Go to Jesus and He will be your rest. He will teach you
the unforced rhythms of grace. He will teach you to live freely and without
worry.
Exodus 16:15-30 (AMP)
When the Israelites saw
it, they said one to another, Manna [What is it?]. For they did not know what
it was. And Moses said to them, This is the bread which the Lord has given you
to eat. This is what the Lord has commanded: Let every man gather of it as much
as he will need, an omer for each person, according to the number of your
persons; take it, every man for those in his tent. The [people] did so, and
gathered, some more, some less. When they measured it with an omer, he who
gathered much had nothing over, and he who gathered little had no lack; each
gathered according to his need. Moses said, Let none of it be left until
morning. But they did not listen to Moses; some of them left of it until
morning, and it bred worms, became foul, and stank; and Moses was angry with
them.
Beloved, in the Old
Testament, God rain down Manna from heaven. It’s a sign of His provision and
His grace. His grace is like the Manna. The grace for tomorrow has not come yet.
And His grace for today cannot be used for tomorrow. If you are worry about a
presentation or a test that is due a week later, it’s because the grace is not
there yet. There will be a grace for the situation for that day.
Psalm 55:22 (AMP)
Cast your burden on the
Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow
the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail).
Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMP)
Lean on, trust in, and be
confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own
insight or understanding.
A lot of time, we worry
because we could not fully trust the Lord. We look upon our own understanding
and the situation and worry but God wants us to fully trust in Him and cast all
our cares upon Him. He promised He will never make us, the righteous fail.
Psalm 46:10 (NET)
He says, “Stop your striving
and recognize that I am God! I will be exalted over the nations! I will be
exalted over the earth!”
Philippians 4:6 (AMP)
Do not fret or have any
anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer
and petition ([a]definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your
wants known to God.
Beloved, let us stop
worrying and start praying. Praying is a privilege that was given to the new
convent people. When we pray, our worries goes up and His peace comes down.
