*.* Jesus is our wisdom *.*

Wisdom is like a woman, in her left hand are riches and honour and the right hand, length of days. When you embrace her, she will embrace you with riches and honour and length of days.
-Ps. Prince

Proverbs 9:10 (AMP)

The reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is the beginning (the chief and choice part) of Wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight and understanding.

Beloved, the worship of the Lord is the beginning to wisdom. We all are wise because we worship the Lord. The Holy Spirit will guide you in everything you do. (John 14:26, Luke 12:12)

James 1:5 (AMP)

If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of [a]the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally (haplōs) and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or fault-finding, and it will be given him.

Beloveds, if we lack wisdom let us ask it from the Lord. He will give freely (haplōs) to us. The word haplōs quoted by Thayer's Greek Lexicon is led by the desire to bless. God desire is for us to be wise. He give liberally wisdom to everyone who asked.

1 Corinthians 1:30 (AMP)

But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our Righteousness [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption [providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin].

Jesus is made our wisdom, and our righteousness and our Redemption. We have Him in our life, He is our wisdom, ask Him for any decision making and see His wisdom manifest in your life.

Luke 2:51-52 (AMP)

And He went down with them and came to Nazareth and was [habitually] obedient to them; and his mother kept and closely and persistently guarded all these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom (in broad and full understanding) and in stature and years, and in favor with God and man.

Jesus submitted to His earthly parents and He grew in wisdom and stature and increase in favor. Beloved, there is an honour in submitting to leaders put over us, not because they deserve it but because that God put them over us and see that you will increase in wisdom.

*.* Jesus is the reason for Christmas *.*

Matthew 1:18-21 (AMP)
Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place under these circumstances: When His mother Mary had been promised in marriage to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be pregnant [through the power] of the Holy Spirit. And her [promised] husband Joseph, being a just and upright man and not willing to expose her publicly and to shame and disgrace her, decided to repudiate and dismiss (divorce) her quietly and secretly. But as he was thinking this over, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, descendant of David, do not be afraid to take Mary [as] your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of (from, out of) the Holy Spirit. She will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus [the Greek form of the Hebrew Joshua, which means Savior], for He will save His people from their sins [that is, prevent them from failing and missing the true end and scope of life, which is God].
Beloved, Jesus void Himself of all and come to save us from missing the mark (sin). He is thrice holy. In Him there was no sin (1 John 3:5), He knew no sin (2 cor 5:21) and He did no sin (1 peter 2:22). God look through the earth and find no one perfect and Jesus, offered Himself to come and die for our sins. (Heb 4) He is our wonderful savior, without Him, no one can go to God, but because of His sacrifice, we have access to the holy place and we call God our Father.
John 1:14 (AMP)

And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth..

Beloveds, Jesus did not just come and dwell with us, He tabernacled with us. He will never leave nor forsake us. In the beginning He was with God and for the sake of us, He left heaven and came to earth for us. How loving is our savior Jesus.

Luke 2:8-16 (AMP)
And in that vicinity there were shepherds living [out under the open sky] in the field, watching [in shifts] over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord flashed and shone all about them, and they were terribly frightened. But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people. For to you is born this day in the town of David a Savior, Who is Christ (the Messiah) the Lord! And this will be a sign for you [by which you will recognize Him]: you will find [after searching] a Baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. Then suddenly there appeared with the angel an army of the troops of heaven (a heavenly knighthood), praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest [heaven], and on earth peace among men with whom He is well pleased [men of goodwill, of His favor]. When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing (saying) that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us. So they went with haste and [by searching] found Mary and Joseph, and the Baby lying in a manger.

God the son was born into this world, without a place to stay. He was born into a manger, a symbol of His death. A manger is a place where the animals feed on. Feed on His finished work at the cross and His righteousness that was given to us.

Isaiah 9:6 (AMP)
For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given (Nathan); and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace.

Philippians 2:8-10 (AMP)
And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross! Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed (charizomai) on Him the name that is above every name, That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

Beloved, the Hebrew word for the given in Isa 9:6 is Nathan, which can mean bestow also. God the Father, loves us so much, that He bestow His son to us when we were yet sinners. Jesus is a wonderful counsellor, whatever problem you have, go to Him, He will be there.

As Ps. Lian has explained in the service last Sunday, freely bestowed in the Greek in charizomai, which can means give in grace. God the Father was so please with Jesus finished work on the cross that He gave the name upon all names to Jesus and every knee must bow to that name. Does your sickness has a name or your problem has a name? Declare that Jesus is King over your problem and it would bow to Jesus.

Matthew 1:23 (AMP)

Behold, the virgin shall become pregnant and give birth to a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel—which, when translated, means, God with us.

Emmanuel, God with us. Beloved, God will never by any means leave us. He came as a man and dwell with us. According to the Thayer's Greek Lexicon,
Jesus was God united with man, and showed that God was dwelling with man.

James 1:17 (AMP)

Every good gift and every perfect (free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light, in [the shining of] Whom there can be no variation [rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [as in an eclipse].

Christmas is a season of giving. Let us remember to thank God always that for His perfect gift that He gave to us. In everything, give thanks to the Lord. =D

*.* Jesus is love *.*

3:16 (AMP)
For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world (kosmos) that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.
Beloved, God loves you. He loves you with a passion that even if you are the only person in the world, He will still come down and die for you. Beloved, do you know that the word for world here is “kosmos”, which can mean “inhabitants of the earth, men, the human family”. The world is big, but the Chinese bible translates it accurately, for God so love man, that He sent His only son. (神愛世人, 甚至賜下他的獨生子,好讓所有信他的人不至於滅亡,反得永恆的生命)
John 15:9 (AMP)
I have loved you, [just] as the Father has loved Me; abide in My love [continue in His love with Me].
1 John 4:10 (AMP)
In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins.
Romans 8:37 (AMP)
Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.
Beloveds let us dwell in the love of God. When you are in lack, focus on His love for you. Even in your worst day, let His love bath you. Through His love, we are more than a conqueror. He had overcome, therefore, be of good cheer. (John 16:33)

Romans 8:39 (AMP)
Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Beloved, God has promise us that He will ALWAYS loves us. NOTHING, no angel, no devil can separate us from the love of God. He will always love us. He will always be there for us. This is agape love, the self-sacrificing love. The love so strong that He voids Himself of everything and came to earth as a human to die for us.
1 John 4:16 (AMP)
And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.
Psalm 106:1 (AMP)
Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!
Psalm 103:8 (AMP)
The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy and loving-kindness.
God is love, when He is angry, He is strange at heart. Judgement and punishment was never in His heart. He is merciful and kind, wonderful and loving. This is our God.
Isaiah 53:3-5 (AMP)
He was despised and rejected and forsaken by men, a Man of sorrows and pains, and acquainted with grief and sickness; and like One from Whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or have any esteem for Him. Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
Beloved, Jesus doesn’t need to go through the whipping. But He went through the lashes just for us to be healed. Every whip what was whipped upon His body was for our sickness. Have the image of Him standing up after each lashes; telling you, “I have conquered that sickness for you”. Another whip came and He stood up and says “I’ve take your depression for you”. Now be healed for He has taken ALL our grief and our sickness upon Himself.
Romans 5:8 (AMP)
But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.
Luke 23:46 Bible (AMP)
And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit! And with these words, He expired.
Beloved, this is how Jesus loves us. When we were still His enemies, when we were still in our sins, He came and died for us. There is a little story by Kenneth E. Hagan(i think) that I want to share. I’m sure Ps. Prince has shared it in His sermons a few times.
My little boat
A father and his small son worked together and built a toy boat. They whittled out it's hull, painted it red and attached a white sail. Then they enjoyed many happy hours sailing it in the river running through their village.

Somehow the father died. When the boy sailed the boat alone, it brought back wonderful memories until one day a bigh wind caught the little boat and carried the boat down the river faster than the boy could run after it. Out it sailed into the sea.

The boy missed his boat so much for the long time it was gone. About thanksgiving time, he was overjoyed to see his little boat appeared in the toy shop window. He ran inside and said "that my little boat in the window"! My father and I made it but it was lost to the sea".

The shop owner said that it was brought in by sailerman who found it. He will let the boy have it but at a price. The boy had no money, he did everything he could to earn some. He cut wood, sold paper and each day he passes the toy show just to see if the boat is there.

At last on Christmas day, he had enough money to buy the little boat. Out he came from the shop, clasped the little boat in his chest and cried, "little boat, little boat, you were twice mine, I've made you and I've brought you!"
(Taken from the blood and the glory by Billye Brim)
This is how Jesus loves us, He made us and redeem us, not by silver or gold, but with His precious blood.
Beloved, God is not mad at you, God is mad about you.
Lastly,
Let us worship Jesus with a song....

*.* Worry not about tomorrow *.*

Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but gets you nowhere.
- Glenn Turner

Matthew 6:34 (AMP)
So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.

Beloved, is there a worry in your life? Be it a test tomorrow, or a bill due next week. Or even a demand placed on you on the following days to come. Jesus says don’t worry about it. In the whole of Matt 6, Jesus explained that even Solomon, the richest king in the whole history could not be matched up with us. (Matt 6:25-33)

 Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

Beloveds are you tired or worn out? Go to Jesus and He will be your rest. He will teach you the unforced rhythms of grace. He will teach you to live freely and without worry.

Exodus 16:15-30 (AMP)
When the Israelites saw it, they said one to another, Manna [What is it?]. For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, This is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat. This is what the Lord has commanded: Let every man gather of it as much as he will need, an omer for each person, according to the number of your persons; take it, every man for those in his tent. The [people] did so, and gathered, some more, some less. When they measured it with an omer, he who gathered much had nothing over, and he who gathered little had no lack; each gathered according to his need. Moses said, Let none of it be left until morning. But they did not listen to Moses; some of them left of it until morning, and it bred worms, became foul, and stank; and Moses was angry with them.
Beloved, in the Old Testament, God rain down Manna from heaven. It’s a sign of His provision and His grace. His grace is like the Manna. The grace for tomorrow has not come yet. And His grace for today cannot be used for tomorrow. If you are worry about a presentation or a test that is due a week later, it’s because the grace is not there yet. There will be a grace for the situation for that day.

Psalm 55:22 (AMP)
Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail).
Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMP)
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.

A lot of time, we worry because we could not fully trust the Lord. We look upon our own understanding and the situation and worry but God wants us to fully trust in Him and cast all our cares upon Him. He promised He will never make us, the righteous fail.

Psalm 46:10 (NET)
He says, “Stop your striving and recognize that I am God! I will be exalted over the nations! I will be exalted over the earth!”
Philippians 4:6 (AMP)
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition ([a]definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

Beloved, let us stop worrying and start praying. Praying is a privilege that was given to the new convent people. When we pray, our worries goes up and His peace comes down.

*.* Seeing Jesus as your faith *.*

Luke 8:24-25 (AMP)

And the disciples came and woke Him, saying, Master, Master, we are perishing! And He, being thoroughly awakened, censured and blamed and rebuked the wind and the raging waves; and they ceased, and there came a calm.
And He said to them, [Why are you so fearful?] Where is your faith (your trust, your confidence in Me—in My veracity and My integrity)? And they were seized with alarm and profound and reverent dread, and they marveled, saying to one another, Who then is this, that He commands even wind and sea, and they obey Him?

Hebrews 12:2 (AMP)

Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Jesus was probably pointing to Himself when He asked the disciples where is their faith. He was trying to point the disciples away from the problems but focus only on Him, the Solution to all the problems. Jesus who is the source and finisher of our faith. Beloveds, if you have "no faith" just look to Jesus. He is your faith.

Matthew 17:20 (KJV)

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Mustard Seed is one of the smallest seed in Jesus' time and Jesus used this illustration to speak to His disciples that even with a little faith, speaking to your mountain(problems) to go away, it will obey.

Hebrews 11:6 (AMP)

For by the grace (unmerited favor of God) given to me I warn everyone among you not to estimate and think of himself more highly than he ought [not to have an exaggerated opinion of his own importance], but to rate his ability with sober judgment, each according to the degree of faith apportioned by God to him.

Beloved, have you ever thought "I have no faith"? That is a lie the enemy is trying to confuse you with. God has given us each a portion of faith. No matter how "faithless" you are, you are still given a portion of faith based on Jesus finished work. As we are justified by faith (Rom 5:1). Once you believed that Jesus is your Savior, you have a measure of faith.

Romans 12:3 (MSG)

It’s impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him.
God is so good that He supplied the faith for us and rewards us with the faith he has given us in the first place.

Romans 10:17(NLT)

So faith comes from hearing , that is, hearing the Good News(rhēma)about Christ.

So how do we "increase" in faith? Simply by listing to the gospel good news of Christ and His finished work. Read the bible, listen to sermons that talk about Jesus, by doing that we will increase in faith. How much He loved us to died on the cross for us just that we can be reconcile with God the Father.

The good news here in greek is the world
rhēma.
Rhēma means word of God. It can also mean a fresh, revelation of God words for your situation.
